Elaisha Stokes
Director & Founder

Elaisha Stokes is an award winning journalist and documentary filmmaker. In 2014, she was awarded an International Women's Media Foundation Reporting Fellowship and the International Reporting Project's Religion Fellowship for her work in the Democratic Republic of Congo. 

Elaisha holds a Masters in Journalism from Columbia University, a Masters in Media Production from Ryerson University, and a BSc in Global Development and Agriculture from the University of British Columbia. Her work has been supported by The Nation Institute  for Investigative Reporting, The International Women's Media Foundation, The International Reporting Project, The Patsy Preston Pulitzer Grant for Documentary Filmmaking, The New York Emmy Foundation, The Ontario Arts Council and the Columbia-DuPoint Awards.

Horeb Bulambo Shindano
Producer

For the last 20 years, Horeb Bulambo Shindano has been producing  films from the Democratic Republic of Congo. His clients include National Geographic, CNN, and The New York Times, among others.  For three year, Horeb hosted the popular television show Monusco Realitiesfor the United Nations in the Democratic Republic of Congo, . 

Horeb has provided producing and logistics assistance in the Democratic Republic of Congo, The Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, Kenya and the Central African Republic. He is highly skilled at negotiating relationships with armed militia and government alike.  Horeb holds a Bachelors of Journalism and Media Production from the Uganda School of Media. He is fluent in nine languages including French and English.
